Job Description

  • Provide profitability analysis by products and customer for management review.
  • Undertake any other projects/ tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.
  • Assist in budget preparation, reviewing and calculating cost saving activities.
  • Assist/take lead in annual physical count process.
  • Assist in company material Scrap activity
  • Various variances analysis.
  • Maintaining cost center and project in ERP and Accounting System.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through reconciliation of inventory accounts and analysis of work in process and other material transactions.
  • Analyse changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on cost and pricing
  • Pre and post project costing analysis.
  • Product costing/ Inventory analysis from changes in ECO, material consumption, labour and machine hour
  • Monitor and analyse actual versus budget variance on monthly basis.
  • Prepare month-end closing Account Payable vs Inventory reconciliation.

Job Requirement

  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, or equivalent. Strong level of analytical skills, numeracy and costing understanding.
  • Must have a strong Cost systems background and have excellent analytical skills
  • Able to speak and write in English/Mandarin/Bahasa Melayu.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven communications skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with engineering, manufacturing, warehouse personnel on the development and analysis of cost standards
  • Knowledge or experience in Standard Costing will be an added advantage.
  • Computer Literate – Strong Excel skills.
  • Good Interpersonal competences and attention to details.
  • Required skill(s): Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Communication, Budgeting, Forecast, Inventory reporting, Interpersonal.
  • Able to work independently and in team with minimum supervision
